We want your stay at Higher Farm to be as relaxed and trouble-free as possible. If there’s anything you would like help with during your stay, just ask us.
Normal arrival / departure times are:
- Arrival – 4pm to 9pm (later by arrangement only)
- Departure – by 10.30am
If you would like to arrive or depart outside of these times, please let us know when you book or as soon as possible.
Like all accommodation in the UK, Higher Farm is non-smoking throughout.
Broadband – there is free wireless broadband access in all rooms. Click for mobile coverage
There are plenty of books and magazines in the Guest Lounge.
Pets – dogs are welcome in the Loose Boxes accommodation only. We make a small charge to cover cleaning, and ask that you bring all feeding equipment and bedding that your dog will need.
Assistance dogs are, of course, welcome to stay with you in any of the rooms - no charge is made for these.
Places of worship – the nearest Anglican churches are in Crewe by Farndon and Coddington. There are two Roman Catholic churches in Wrexham, and Methodist chapels in Crewe by Farndon and Wrexham.
Buses – there is a bus service between Chester and Whitchurch which stops close to Higher Farm, which runs several times a day.
Rail – the nearest mainline railway stations are Wrexham and Chester. Both stations have express services to London. Wrexham also serves north Wales, and Chester serves northwest England and Merseyside.
Air – the nearest airports are Liverpool John Lennon and Manchester International. Both are around 1 hour away by taxi.
